This website does not collect personal data

The website has no forms and does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. Nor does it load content from other companies: typefaces, icons and images are served from our own domain.

Like any website, the server that hosts it records technical data about visits, such as the IP address or browser type, to keep it secure and working. This data is used for that purpose only.

If you contact us

If you call us, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we will use the details you give us (for example, your name, phone number and enquiry) only to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is the consent you give by contacting us. We keep the data for as long as we need to reply and, after that, only for the periods required by law.

WhatsApp is a service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, which processes data under its own privacy policy and may transfer it outside the European Economic Area. That is why we ask you not to send prescriptions or health information through it: for any question about your treatment, please call us or visit the pharmacy.

Health data at the pharmacy

The data we process at the pharmacy to dispense medicines and provide services such as SPD is covered by the information we give you on the premises and in the documents you sign for each service.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by emailing admin@macafarma.com or by speaking to the owner pharmacist at the pharmacy. We will reply within one month. Some data, such as prescriptions, must be kept for the periods required by law even if you ask for it to be erased.

If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any other technology that stores information on your device. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

Links to Google Maps, Apple Maps, WhatsApp or the Balearic Islands Association of Pharmacists take you to third-party services, which apply their own privacy and cookie policies.
